Was That For Me?

"Wow...that was really kind of them!" 🥰 

I processed what was being done for me...this person was doing something they didn't have to do to help me. It was unexpected and an answered prayer....so I received it.  

I was always so focused on trying to be a help or a light to others, that I didn't realize I was not open to receiving the same in return.  

Sent through the people around me, my Heavenly Father was sending blessings I'd allowed my fears and assumptions to block and sabotage. 

He'd been tearing down this wall and as uncomfortable as it was, I knew it was necessary.....but why?  

This weekend I received my answer as I listened and watched a reminder of the greatest act of love ever made....God sending His son to save me, and Jesus willingly suffering in my place.  

It was unexpected and also an answered prayer, but did I receive the gift of life?  

Truth is I was still trying to fight the 'death' in my life myself. Once I decided to receive this gift and submit to God's direction on how to overcome, my life changed forever.

It's one thing to acknowledge something kind and life changing can happen to someone else, but another to believe it can happen for you.  

Until we are able to believe it, and then choose to be open to receiving how God sends this in our lives, it will remain a light just out of our reach. 

Being intentional about our time with God will help us to recognize and embrace what He's trying to give us.... 

So this week take 10 minutes of quiet time each morning to ask God to show you where He's challenging you to be open to receive...and to give you the courage to push past the blockers and receive everything He wants you to have. 😊💜🙏🏼
